7 Reasons Why You Should Never Adopt Or Rescue A Dog
- 16/03/2015
Why adopt a dog when you can, like, just buy one at the store or whatever? Here are seven reasons why you should never adopt a rescue dog, like, ever:
1. You don't like saving lives
There are over 8 million homeless dogs in the world, many of them will die without one, why would you want to help one?
2. You don't like cuddles
Rescue dogs appreciate the second chance and are often extra affectionate. Pffff, who wants that? Needy!
3. You don't like forming strong emotional bonds with dogs
You're going to care about another living being, it's going to care about you and urgh, sounds like work, right?
4. You don't like dogs that are already housetrained
C'mon, cleaning up poop and pee is fun. It's like, totally organic and stuff.
5. You don't like mutts
Unique looking dogs that are genetically stronger than most pure-breds, please. Brand name dogs only, please.
6. You don't like endless face kisses
All that slobber and affection, um.. ew, gross, no.
7. You don't enjoy a beautiful life lesson in compassion
Who needs a life lesson in compassion about a beautiful bond that happens when you save another living beings life? Like, seriously. Laaaaaame.
Here's a high-five to all you rescue dog people. Thanks for saving a life!

Liked this post - thanks for sharing! I agree on all the contexts of what you can benefit from having rescue dogs. Although the "trained" part can be a hit or miss - depends on the type of household the pup grew into.
